Putting power back into the hands of the people.
That’s the emphasis of many of Detroit’s ongoing revitalization initiatives, including Detroit LISC’s Building Sustainable Communities strategy. And it was the central message at Vanguard Community Development Corporation’s Building Sustainable Communities Initiative Kickoff Meeting on January 31, 2012.
