The Second Conference of LISC’s Building Sustainable Communities
Microenterprise: Moving Forward in Michigan will be held on February 19, 2009 from 9am-2pm at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield. This one-day conference, the second in the series of Building Sustainable Communities, will present providers and policymakers an overview of the state of microenterprise in Michigan, highlight innovations and best practices, and allow participants to offer feedback on a plan to keep microenterprise moving forward in Michigan.
The conference is sponsored by Detroit LISC and Michigan LISC as well as the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM), the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and the Center for Nonprofit Management at Lawrence Tech University.
